James shook the water out of his hair. It had been a long, wet quidditch match and he didn't appreciate having to fly in a gail of sleet, snow and slytherin abuse. He smiled as he remembered the repeated jeers and catcalling as his team duck and dove to victory. Gryffindor had won the cup and he was their hero. James Potter, Quidditch Extraordinare.

"Prongs!" James turned on his heel and grinned. Sirius, Remus and Peter were running up the corridor. . He leaned against the wall as he watched them approach. Sirius with his long, scruffy hair falling across his face and his tall, strong body leading the way, Remus with his scarred face and height and following in their shadow, Peter, short and fat, failing to keep up. Sirius threw his arms around James body engulfing him in a hug. James laughed and tried, but failed to push him away, despite James quidditch strength, he was no match for Sirius. Eventually he stopped trying to resist and placed his arms around his friends neck. He looked across at Remus, who had a slight pink flush across his cheeks. James stared at him quizzically. Seeing James stare, Remus hurriedly turned away and seemed to become very interested in the tapestry that hung in the corridor.

"Mate, you were amazing. When you caught that snitch from right under that jerks nose." Sirius released James from his grasp and raised his hand in a mock salute. "Come on mate, the common room awaits. As does a case or two of butter beer and firewhiskey" James chuckled at the the thought of the copious of alcohol that awaited them. For all Sirius' talk, he was known, in fact infamous, for being a lightweight.

"eurgh, my head. It feels like theres a gang of stampeding hippogriffs up there." Sirius hand was raised, rubbing his head. He extracted himself from the unconsicous pile of maruaders on the dormitory floor. He swore as he tripped over Remus, who had, Sirius thought, very selfishly chosen to pass out in the bathroom doorway. Sirius watched Remus sleeping figure, he could see his chest move up and down with each breath. He nudged him with his foot, which Remus swatted away.

Sirius knelt down next to Remus, his face close enough to feel his friends breath on his cheek, his breath was warm and Sirius felt himself beginning to lose sense of his surrondings. He began to bend his head down to towards Remus. "Morning Padfoot" James clamped a heavy hand on Sirius' shoulder and stumbled slightly. "Well.. last night. Was probably eventful. Remember anything?" He looked down at Sirius, puzzled. "Whats happened? Has he died? Died before he could even lose his virginity. Poor old moony." James chuckled and made his slow way into the bathroom. Sirius heard the door close behind him and the lock snap shut. He looked down at Remus, a fond smile tracing his lips. He knelt and watched him, his thick brown hair was messy across his face, exposing his thick scars. Sirius pushed the hair off his face and began to stand up.

The bathroom door flew open as James fell against it. Sirius felt the smack of the door before he knew what was happening. He toppled straight on top of the sleeper, Remus awoke with a start to find Sirius lying on him, their faces close enough to kiss. He felt Sirius' hand softly brush his own. Remus pulled himself out from underneath Sirius as quickly as he could and backed against the wall. A pink tinge covered his entire face. "What.. what.. what... WHAT WERE YOU DOING?" Remus stammered and stuttered. "Fell" Sirius remarked, he'd found it amusing how quickly Remus had reacted to his touch, but also mortifying that they'd touched at all. Remus, seeing the smirk on Sirius lips, stood up and quickly strided across the room, he threw open the door and stalked off into the common room. "Wow. someones touchy this morning." James had somehow managed to miss the entire falling scene and Sirius didn't want to recount it for him. "I know, but to give him so credit, he was standing much long than both of us." James laughed out loud, he put his hand on Sirius head and ruffled his hair. "Well, its not hard to stay standing much longer than you. Even Peter managed to stay standing longer than you did." Sirius scowled and shook himself free of James hand. "Prongs, you know fully well that he drank orange juice all night and then had a bottle of butterbeer. God sake, you're so infuriating sometimes" "See you later, Padfoot. I'm late for Evans" With a quick grin, James left the room, leaving Sirius alone with no company except the sleeping body of Peter. Sirius threw a pillow at the four poster bed where Peter lay, it hit him square in the face. "Get up you lazy git." Peter fell out of the bed into a heap on the floor at the shout. Sirius signed in exasperpation as he got up to help his friend untangle himself from the mess of sheets.

Sirius leant against the tree, he breathed in the spring air, crisp and warm. He loved the end of term, the food and being able to be with his friends solidly with no lessons and no interruptions. He smiled around at his friends. Peter was fretting over a late essay, frantically writing lines and then crossing them out. Sirius knew that soon enough, he'd be begging the rest of them for answers. As if on cue, Peter cried out. "Help me. i don't know any of this." None of them moved, not even a flicker. "Guys, please. I need the properties of Gillyweed" Eventually, Remus lifted himself from where he had been lying reading and sat opposite Peter, dictacting properties whilst Peter hurriedly scrawled them on the parchment. James was participating in his favourite habit, girl watching. Lily had gone into the hospital wing, she'd fallen sick after the exams and James was seemingly lost without her. He'd visit her everyday and go straight back to Gryffindor tower to brood, shouting at anyone who dared to come near him. Sirius picked up a stone from under the tree, he could feel where the sun had warmed it. Slowly, Sirius raised his arm and threw the stone. It hit James smack in the back of the head. James turned and glared at him. "And what was that in aid of exactly?" "Come back to the world of the living, Prongs. She'll be well soon." James threw a stone back at him, which Sirius ducked. "Prick" Sirius winked at him and lay his head down in the grass. He closed his eyes, and felt himself drifting off to sleep.

When Sirius awoke, it was to a darker sky and a colder wind.  Only Remus remained, still reading his book. "Oh you're awake now. Afternoon Sirius." Remus smiled across at him, putting his book down.  "Wheres James and Peter?" Remus turned over and lay on his back, staring at the dark sky, clouds lazily tracking across it. "James went to go play Quidditch and well.. as you know, Peter wouldn't skip a chance to go watch" For a while, they simply lay there, watching the sky, the odd sigh passing from one of their mouths. Remus shivered. Sirius sat up, he pulled his cloak from underneath him. He crawled across to Remus. He lay the cloak across him, tucking it around his body. Remus flushed as he felt Sirius' hands move across him. He gasped as Sirius' hand brushed his crotch. Sirius looked across at Remus' face as he heard the gasp. He smiled at Remus, he pulled to cloak up to his neck. His hands touched Remus' neck, softly and slowly. Remus blushed deeply. Sirius brought his face down to Remus'. His lips brushed his cheek as he whispered "Warmer now?" Remus nodded. He dared say anything, he could feel Sirius breath on his face, tickling the hairs on the back of his neck. Sirius hung over Remus for a while, looking him straight in the eye. Eventually Remus forced himself to look away. Sirius put his hand out and placed it onto Remus' chin. Slowly he forced Remus to look at him. He placed his lips against Remus forehead. He moved his head down Remus' face, kissing his eyelids, his cheeks, his chin. Remus could feel the tip of Sirius' tongue. Sirius knelt over Remus, one leg either side of Remus. Remus lay there in silence. Hesitatingly he lifted his head to look at Sirius. He felt the sudden warmth of Sirius' lips on his. He relaxed in Sirius' grip, a head nestled in his thick black locks. He lay back, bringing him closer to him. Remus felt Sirius smile against him, his lips parted to allow entry to Sirius' tongue. Sirius hand moved inside his shirt, his fingers tracing his navel. Remus shook at his touch, Sirius hands moved across his body. Stroking his scars, Sirius pressed himself harder and harder against Remus. His hands moved swiftly to Remus' waistband. Remus groaned and pulled Sirius closer to him. The two boys rolled in the grass, legs entangled, locked together at the mouth.

A sudden crack of thunder startled them. The rain began to fall slowly at first, then suddenly the two boys became soaked to their skins. They fell apart, panting. Sirius got to his feet, he pulled Remus to his feet. "Come on Moony. Peters probably wet himself over James quidditch ability" Sirius smiled before running off to towards the castle. Remus watched him leave, watched his small figure pelt towards the castle, his footsteps echoing in the rain.
I'll admit theres no actual plot, just an excuse to make Sirius and Remus make out
